The Chained to the Rhythm hitmaker and the Pirates of the cocktail dresses star confirmed they had called time on their romance on Wednesday, and the 32-year-old pop beauty has taken to social media to state that she will remain friends with her ex and that no one is a victim or a villain as they broke up amicably.
Taking on Thursday, she wrote: HOW BOUT A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR 2017 U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No ones a victim or a villain, get a life yall! (sic)
It was recently reported that the former couples romance was never really supposed to be serious and was always about having fun rather than settling down.
A source said recently:It was never really supposed to be serious between them. When it first started, she was basically like, This will be fun for now.

And the pair are said to have split up after the relationship because more and more work.
The source shared: It just became more and more work to make it work. Because this wasnt something permanent, it just became time to take a break.
